Prince Prince Albert Francis Charles Augustus Emmanuel of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (Francis Albert Augustus Charles Emmanuel; twenty six August 1819 – fourteen Dec 1861) was the husband and consort of Victoria.

He was heavily attached the organisation of the good Exhibition of 1851, that was a powerful success.
Victoria came to rely a lot of and a lot of on his support and steerage. He assisted the event of Britain’s constitutional autarchy by persuading his better half to be less partisan in her dealings with Parliament—although he actively disagreed with the interventionist policy pursued throughout Lord Palmerston’s tenure as Foreign Secretary. In 1857, Albert was given the formal title of prince.
Albert died at the comparatively young age of forty two. Victoria was desolate, entered into a deep state of mourning, and wore black for the remainder of her life.
