The Poljane housing complex is located near a road crossing dynamic outside Maribor. It consists of four buildings (2 blocks + 2 towers), a total of 13 departments. The project – limited to the existing hard urban plan area, which needs to be a point to point – replaces outdoor spaces that exist with public use areas within the buildings.
Vast empty spaces – “enclosures” public – are carved in the volumes of the blocks and were assigned public programs. These areas are covered – designed as spaces for outdoor play – such as green roofs facing the sun.
